Pucker Up Butter Cup

Why Should You Exfoliate Your Lips?

Okay, this may sound completely ridiculous BUT there’s a method to the madness. You should limit lip exfoliation to about once a week but adding this to your beauty routine can help improve the look and feel of your precious puckers.

  1. Remove dead skin. If your lips are dry and flaky, exfoliating them will help remove dead skin. This will leave your lips smoother and softer. Using Mary Kay’s WHITE TEA & CITRUS SATIN LIPS® SET is an effective two step system that not only exfoliate but the shea butter balm helps hydrate and repair.

  2. Help hydrate your lips. Tah Dah! Again… Mary Kay’s WHITE TEA & CITRUS SATIN LIPS® SET is an effective two step system that not only exfoliate but the shea butter balm helps hydrate and repair. By sealing your exfoliating treatment, it helps lock in moisture and keep dryness away.

  3. Lipsticks and glosses will look SO MUCH better. Wearing lipstick with dry chapped lips is not attractive. Furthermore, using a lip gloss will only highlight flaky lips. Exfoliating away dead skin primes lips and followed by a great moisturizer such as a shea butter balm will result in softer looking lips and smoother lipstick and gloss application. Don’t be surprised that your lip colors last longer and wears more evenly throughout the day. It also doesn’t hurt to add just a little pat of translucent powder as a finishing touch.

Why not give it a try!
